Meditation is easy to do at home with help from apps like Headspace and Calm. It is believed that meditation can control stress and reduces anxiety.


Take time to yourself to get stuck into that book you’ve been meaning to read! Don’t forget, if you are a member of a public library in Ireland, you can get every book in digital form from the BorrowBox app.

Home Workouts

Working out at home can be just as effective as working out in a gym! There are hundreds of no-equiment workouts on YouTube that can guide you through. A favourite of ours is The Body Coach!

Try New Recipes

Trying to get inspired by what you have in your pantry? Check out SuperCook – insert the ingredients you have and SuperCook will come up with the recipe!

Stay Social

Use this down-time to video-chat with a friend you have been meaning to catch up with! Also, make sure to call elderly relatives and neighbours to check up on them during this time, and anyone else who is alone during this social distancing phase.

Boost your mood with Omega-3

Long recognised for heart health benefits, omega-3 fatty acids are emerging as an effective therapy for mood disorders ranging from major depression, post-natal depression and bipolar disorder. People with mental health issues such as depression may benefit from an additional 1,000 mg of EPA plus DHA included in Eskimo Brain 3.6.9. Studies show that EPA and DHA found in oily fish (sardines, anchovies, mackerel, salmon, tuna and herring) can be uplifting and enhance your mood. Get Fresh Air

Get out for a walk or run, making sure you can maintain an appropriate distance from others. If you have a garden, try do your home workouts out there!
