Are you working or studying at home and trying to develop a productive routine? We have listed our favourite ways to stay focused and concentrated!
Get a good nights sleep
Research shows that those who sleep less than the recommended 8 hours a night tend to be less energetic and less focused. So practice a good sleep routine to make sure you get enough Zzzz’s!
Take designated coffee breaks and a lunch break
As you would in an office or in school/college, take your breaks. This adds structure to your day and ensures you are not over working. During these breaks, don’t think about work or study – this will allow you to go back to it with a clear head.
Keep active & social
Don’t completely isolate yourself! Make sure you have planned something in your evenings – be it a walk out in the fresh air, or a video call with your best friend, these types of activities are good for your mental health.
Have a designated work/study space
Try not to study on your couch or bed – create a designated work station for yourself and leave it during your breaks. Try to keep this space clean and organised to increase productivity!
Manage your time
Create a timetable for every day – split out your hours to cover different tasks or topics. This will help you keep focused on what you have to get done and can help achieve goals more efficiently. Make sure to include your breaks in this!
Eat well & drink water
Do not underestimate the power of a good diet and plenty water for focus and concentration. Your body and brain need fuel to stay in top form! We also recommend including Eskimo-3 Brain in your daily routine.
Eskimo-3 is available in health stores and pharmacies, and at eskimo3.ie!
